Hi everyone! My name is Pasha. I won the Diversity Lottery in 2022 and moved to the U.S. in 2023. Here, I share my experiences, opinions, analyses, tools and reports related to my life in the United States to help make your life in the U.S. easier.
I was born in 1989 in the USSR. I completed my general education and pursued a degree in computer science. Before moving to the U.S., I worked as a waiter, courier, bicycle mechanic, printing house manager, digital marketing specialist, law firm manager, and website developer in Russia.
I won the lottery in 2022 while I was in Türkiye. I struggled to secure an interview date because the U.S. embassy in Russia was closed, and it was difficult to obtain a Schengen visa. I researched the process and finally managed to secure my interview date and visa.
Since arriving in the U.S., I have taken on various roles, including gardening, housekeeping, food delivery, taxi driving, administrative work, website services, and drum lessons. I’m still on my way to the American Dream. Currently, I live in Seattle, WA.
